TURNING BROKEN, TIRED, INFIRM, AND UNWANTED GADGETS, FURNITURE, AND ACCESSORIES INTO TIMELESS DESIGNS!

Like most people, I've discarded more stuff than I care to remember in the search for the newest, most fancy gadget, or piece of furniture! Most of the stuff I have gotten rid of wasn't worn-out, or even unreliable. It was just unwanted. Eventually, all this stuff ends up in the recycling circuit and either gets re-used or dumped in landfill or at sea (thanks NY!). 

Looking at my family, what a waste! Some of the stuff was actually better than what replaced it, it just looked worn and rough around the edges. The Danes have got if right when it comes to recycling.  Wherever you go, there always seem to be a handful of recycling shops selling everything and anything. The UK used to be the same with the charity shop scene but since they've found Amazon, they are pricing themselves out of the market because they do not add value.

I developed an appreciation of old tech but with the desire to make it it look clean and minimalist.
