The major difference between the SCMA and INFERNO©™ Security Center Model B/C (SEMB/C) is that the SEMB/C use Raspberry Pi4B single board computer technology because of its compactness and reliability. The Raspberry Pi4Bs key hardware features are a high-performance 64-bit quad-core processor, 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM, dual-display support at resolutions up to 4K using the micro-HDMI ports, hardware video decoding up to 4Kp60, dual-band 2.4/5.0 GHz wireless LAN, Bluetooth 5.0, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, and PoE capability (via a separate PoE HAT add-on).
In all other respects, it is functionally identical to the SEMB/C. It offers the same level of plug and play network security control center. The protections are integrated intrusion detection and prevention, ad-blocking, tracker blocking, cookie deletion, anti-virus, Certificate authority, anti-IP spoofing and (SSL and RSA key protected tunnel) private vpn server using DNSSEC ensuring safe, uninhibited availability, from anywhere in the world.

Better work/life
balance!
Being able to maximize
the time spent on your core business and not worrying about infrastructure issues means you can get the
largest return on your investment (ROI) from each segment of your core business. In addition, you'll have
more time to do the things you need to do to relax.
Your life can only get better with INFERNO©™ Cybersecurity Center!
Low total cost of ownership (TCO)
Total Cost Of Ownership (TCO) is
Extremely low when compared to many other laptops, desktops
and server systems. Why? It is a combination of reduced hardware costs, low licensing costs (businesses
are requested to play fair by the Linux community), low running costs, low
upgrade costs and longevity of the systems.
Basically, a Win, Win, Win for you and your ROI
Forgettable network security!
Firewall plus DMZ, Bandwidth control, IP-filtering, SSL, dedicated private VPN, virus scanning, and
much more . . .
Sandboxed programs together with a "Belt and Braces" approach to cybersecurity ensures that MITM, port
scanning, credential stuffing, Malware, Ransomware, and even Futureware don't get a in. The only things
that get into and out of INFERNO©™
systems are what you want. And it keeps itself up-to-date too.
Open the box, connect the SEMB/C to your ISP modem-router, make two changes, the device connections and you are up and running ... simples ...
Your style
Security Center (SEMB/C) The
INFERNO Security Center (SCMB), is delivered in an Argon ONE V2 aluminum case
but this doesn't mean you have to stick with it.
Choose one of our optional eco-friendly art cases, select the
finish from our catalog and you have created a unique
piece of custom office furniture.
Standard,
themed, cartoon, steam punk, star wars, company logo, disco box.
You decide!
Upgrade when you want
SEMB/C is fully hardware and
software upgradable. It supports WiFi up to 802.11ac (WiFi5)
and Ethernet at 1 GB as standard (higher speeds via USB 3.0).
The operating system automatically performs a dist-upgrade as
required. The next greatest WiFi speed and Ethernet speed are
no problem. In theory, the next few after that are simple
upgrades.
Future-proof is a big word but as far as networking goes, the
INFERNO©™ SEMB/C is very close.
Loyal customers will be offered a buy back option when new systems are released.
Update while you sleep
Security systems that are not
up-to-date are no security
at all SEMB/C is designed to automatically
update in the background every day so you don't miss any security updates. It also performs an automatic
reboot after a kernel update to ensure the latest version is always running.
You are not locked in with yearly subscriptions or
additional charges for standard functions. We
deliver a fully functioning device which automatically updates for one price.
That's it for SEMB/C
64-bit power
SEMB/C systems are powered by
the reliable Broadcom BCM2711, quad-core Cortex-A72 (ARM v8)
64-bit SoC running at 1.5GHz which provides fast throughput
in smaller SMB/SOHO networks.
Low power, only 10 W
SEMB/C systems are designed to
be as
eco-thrifty as is possible and use only 10 W of power under
normal operation, which is exceptional for a server.
A server nominally runs at 650 W, laptops between 90 W to
120 W and desktops at 350 W so the difference in power
consumption could not be clearer.
To calculate kilowatt
hours (kWh):
Watts value x operating hours
per day =
n-Watt hours / 1000
= number of kWh
No noise
No fan, no HDD so no noise.
Choosing low power for SEMB/C has the added advantage that the SEMB/C systems are
fanless and silent. The replacement of noisy Hard Disk
Drives (HDD) with silent Solid-state Disk Drives (SDD) just
adds to the silence.
Small environmental footprint
SEMB/C systems part of our
policy for social sustainability. People and the environment are not resources to be used in a mad rush
for maximum profit. Both are finite resources that need to be used with the utmost care. Social
sustainability is as ingrained in our thinking as breathing. We are all citizens of the world and the
world is our community, not Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn.
Computers are currently full of nasty chemicals but using refurbished computers we aim to reduce their Eco-footprint by keeping them "in use" (not in land-fill) and continuing to develop low power, low noise, refurbished products.
