SCMA is fully hardware and software upgradable. It supports WiFi up to 802.11ac (WiFi5) and Ethernet at 1 GB as standard (higher speeds via USB 3.0).
The operating system automatically performs a dist-upgrade as required. The next greatest WiFi speed and Ethernet speed are no problem. In theory, the next few after that are simple upgrades. Future-proof is a big word but as far as networking goes, the INFERNO^©™ SCMA is very close.

SCMA is designed to automatically update in the background every day so you don't miss any security updates. It also performs an automatic reboot after a kernel update to ensure the latest version is always running.

SCMA systems are powered by the reliable AMD GX-212JC (dual-core) 64-bit CPU running at 1.4GHz which provides fast throughput in smaller SMB and SOHO networks.

SCMA systems are designed to be as eco-thrifty as is possible and use only 10 W of power under normal operation, which is exceptional for a server.

A server nominally runs at 650 W, laptops between 90 W to 120 W and desktops at 350 W so the difference in power consumption could not be clearer.

No fan, no HDD so no noise. Choosing low power for SCMA has the added advantage that the SCMA systems are fanless and silent. The replacement of noisy Hard Disk Drives (HDD) with silent Solid-state Disk Drives (SDD) just adds to the silence.
